Chaps are sized by thigh measurement. Measure your childs thigh at the largest part WITH jeans on. Take that measurement and add approximately 1 inch to it and choose that size. For instance, if your childs thigh measurement is 14", then order chaps that are 15". Measure carefully and with kids, it's better to err on the larger size as we never have size exchanged done for items being too big, they are too small usually.
