Size Chart

Size Charts and information for sizing will be on each product page itself.

Please make sure to read the description and any size charts for the product(s) you are ordering. Size charts vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. When we first opened Leather Lollipop back in 2003 we only sold one brand of leathers and one brand of helmets so it was easy to have a size chart that applied to all products. However, as we expanded to bring you, our valued customer a wider variety of products, we can no longer have a size chart that applied to every product.

BASIC SIZING INFORMATION BELOW:

Some things are the same on all leather products, no matter the brand.

CHAPS are always sized by the chaps themselves. It is NOT YOUR measurement, it is the measurement of the chaps and the most important measurement with chaps is the thigh measurement. The waist is adjustable and the length can be cut down with scissors, but the thigh is not adjustable at all UNLESS you order a pair of chaps that have a stretchy inner thigh panel, those will give a little.

Always measure your thigh at the largest part with your jeans on. Chaps are universally sized, they are not custom made for your body, so keep that in mind. Measure a couple of times and have someone help you if possible. Sometimes when measuring yourself the measuring tape falls down lower in the back and gives you an incorrect measurement. When you are sure you have the correct measurement, see the product page and it will tell you that you need to add one to two inches to YOUR measurement and choose the correct size  chaps. If you choose to close or the same measurement as YOUR thigh, then your chaps will be tight and uncomfortable. When we sit (as in on a motorcycle), our thighs expand a little bit, so even if your chaps fit "just right" when standing, they may feel a little tight when you sit down, so that is why you need to order 1-2 inches larger than your thigh measurement.

LEATHER JACKETS and VESTS are always smaller than you think they are. For mens number sized jackets or vests such as size 42, 44, 46, etc. this means the jacket or vest itself has a 44 inch chest for a size 44 jacket or a 58" chest for a size 58 jacket. Like with chaps, you must have some breathing room. If your chest measures 44" and you choose a size 44 jacket or vest, it's going to be too tight. You must give yourself 2-3 inches of breathing room. If you plan to wear big bulky sweaters or sweatshirts under your jacket or vest, then measure your chest while wearing these bulky items because that can easily add a couple of inches to your measurement. For jackets that are letter sized, such as SMALL, MEDIUM,  LARGE, etc. don't expect to order a jacket that is the same as your shirt size because leather runs smaller than regular clothing does.
