What size chaps should I order?
VERY IMPORTANT: We use several different manufacturers to supply our chaps to give our very valued customers a wider choice to choose from. The size chart below, is from the manufacturer of some of our chaps and is a guide line ONLY. When you order a pair of chaps from us and you choose, for example a size Medium. This does not mean we will send you out a medium, we will go by the thigh measurement you provide us with. It is VERY important that you measure accurately so that we can send you out the best fitting chaps for you. You need to measure the LARGEST part of ONE thigh WITH jeans on. We will do the very best we can, but we can only go by your measurements. As with jeans, the way you want your chaps to fit you is a personal preference. The majority say they want their chaps to fit just a little snug when they put them on for the first time, then once they have worn them several times, it will break the leather in to fit them just right. However others want their chaps to have a little "breathing" room. We will have no way to know which you prefer so give us an accurate thigh measurement and base it on your preference for how snug or loose you want them. If you measure and your thigh is for instance, 24 1/2 inches. If you want them to fit snug then you should tell us the exact measurement and advise us when typing in your measurement that you want them to be a little snug. If you want us to send you chaps that fit looser, send us your exact measurement and type in that if you are in between sizes that you want the next size up. We love all of our customers and want to give you the best fitting chaps and best customer service we possibly can! Help us by giving us accurate measurements.
In order to select a pair of chaps that will fit properly, please take the following measurements:
- Waist ( even though the waist is always adjustable Since it comes with a belt)??..
- Upper thighs ( measure the largest part of ONE thigh WITH your jeans on)?.
- Inseam??Inseam although comes standard and we do not cut them, once you received the pair of chaps, make sure everything fits fine then you just mark a straight line and use regular scissors to cut them. It is best to measure sitting down BEFORE you actually cut your chaps to length. IF you measure standing up, then once you sit down on your motorcycle, your chaps may be shorter than you would prefer.
Be sure to take all measurements with your pants ON |
NOTE: CHAPS ARE SIZED FROM 2XS-5XL SO DO NOT EXPECT THEM TO MATCH YOUR NORMAL PANTS SIZE. THE MOST IMPORTANT MEASUREMENT IS THAT OF YOUR THIGHS. ALL OTHER MEASUREMENTS HAVE WAYS TO COMPENSATE FOR BEING TOO LARGE OR TOO SMALL BUT THE THIGHS CANNOT BE ADJUSTED. THE THIGHS *MUST* BE MEASURED CORRECTLY AND YOU MUST GIVE US ACCURATE THIGH MEASUREMENT. PLEASE SEE VERY IMPORTANT NOTE ABOVE FOR INFORMATION ON MEASURING AND SIZING. THE CHART BELOW IS TO BE USED AS A GUIDELINE ONLY. YOU MAY THINK YOU SHOULD ORDER A SIZE MEDIUM BUT DEPENDING ON OUR MANUFACTURER, YOU MAY ACTUALLY NEED A SIZE XLARGE. WE WILL SEND YOU THE CORRECT SIZE BASED ON YOUR ACCURATE MEASUREMENT, NOT THE "SIZE" YOU CHOOSE FROM THE MENU.

| Helmets & Hats: To determine your helmet/hat size, carefully measure your head with a cloth tape measure. (If you don't have a cloth measuring tape, you can use a piece of string and then use a ruler or yard stick to measure the string!) For greatest accuracy, measurements should be taken by someone other than yourself and the tape measure should be held snugly, but comfortably, around your head. Place the measuring tape completely around the widest portion of your head (approximately 1" above the eyebrows and 1/2" above the ears and at the point on the back of your head that will give you the largest measurement to determine head size). Convert your measurement to the appropriate helmet/hat size using the chart listed below. |

What size Gloves should I order?
With your hand half closed, in a relaxed position, measure around your hand at the fullest part, excluding the thumb, then with your hand opened flat, measure the distance from the tip of your middle finger to the base of your palm. Use the larger number to determine your size. If right-handed, measure the right hand, if left-handed, measure the left hand. |
