You must measure your thighs with jeans on to get proper fit for leather chaps. Our Size Chart offers helpful information as to what size chaps to order. We will not go by your choice of Small, Medium, Large, etc., instead, to be sure you order the very best fit possible, we ask for your thigh measurement. This is the ONLY way to be sure you will get the correct size. We use several different manufacturers and the sizing standards vary drastically from one brand to the next. Measure the largest part of one thigh WITH jeans on. Use a seamstress type tape measure, not a steel one. NOTE ABOUT CHOOSING THE CORRECT SIZE CHAPS
The thigh size in inches is the measurement of the chaps themselves. For instance, if your thigh measures 24 inches, you would choose the 25" THIGH measurement for the chaps. If you choose the 24" thigh measurement, the chaps may be a little tighter than you would prefer. If your thigh measures 22.75 inches, we recommend going to the 24 inch thigh chaps. Always choose the next size up. You will feel more comfortable and if you have measured your thigh correctly WITH jeans on, then you will receive a great fitting and comfortable pair of chaps.
